Well no shit. We had already seen this rodeo 4 years ago. At that time, low interest rates papered over the loss of manufacturing jobs. And tariffs were only imposed on China.
Today, the economy and unilateral tariff situation is so unstable that there is no way any business can make any investment in jobs.
Trump supporters were warned before the election but they chose to damage America - twice by now.

It's super simple - they aren't firing people because there's no demand for products or they fail the competition. It's just simply that the workers are being deported/self-deport by the million. What needs to be used as a yardstick, is employment to population ratio, 25-55.
