- I'd love to know if the people responsible for 'Responsible Gaming' actually think it has an impact or if they're just enjoying the stable income and performative nature of the job.
In Ontario, we have Jon Hamm next to sports cars and supermodels telling us about betting limits. Everyone in the 'regulation chain' makes money on the back of the people who actually need the help. It's awful.
- Not exactly a surprising result. How exactly is "gambling is fun" supposed to reduce gambling?

- Looks like they don't discuss the fact that the message increases the amount of funds that get gambled in the conclusion. Wondering why :).
- Bottom line:
> In our study, no evidence was found for a protective effect of the most common UK safer gambling message.

- Gambling is the ultimate Darwin award. If we end it, we wouldn't have the absolute hilarity from things like Bossmanjack to experience Schadenfreude with. Bossmanjack is literally peak comedy.
