This has been predicted as one of the higher-paying jobs that will remain after AI takes the lower-value ones. Entirely human touch, and while someone can crank out many many sex bots eventually, humans will retain cache. Of course the profession is more lucrative for the more physically attractive (and intellectually attractive), but the same is true for many fields. Unfortunately, the elite market is going to be for those who own the AI, while the basic market will be open to those dependent on UBI.
