LLMs require significantly more compute even for the basic usage and that comes with building tens of thousands of data centers, which even that is not enough to scale up.

There are no efficient alternatives to LLMs that consume significantly less resources and to be as useful with the same quality or better than the frontier models available today and serve millions of requests daily.
